Yash's Notes : Story of the Human brain and the ability to stand
Hii friends π Yash Here.
Hope you're having an amazing day. I've been reading sapiens a lot recently. This book has so many great insights. So I drafted a note about one of the lessons that fascinated me.
Humans have extraordinarily large brains compared to other animals. They also have the ability to stand upright - unlike it's ancestors - chimpanzees. How this happened? How did we evolved so differently from our ancestors? And what did it cost us? These are very interesting things to know.
Here's the entire note I wrote about this here.
Hope you would have a great read. It entirely changed my view on humans.
Quote of the week
There are no gods in the universe, no nations, no money, no human rights, no laws and no justice outside the common imagination of human beings. None of these things exists outside the stories that people invent and tell one another. - Sapiens by @harari_yuval
Anyways, thatβs all! Iβm glad youβre here. You look beautiful π«, has anyone told you that today?
